Dwight will have an official ground breaking ceremony for its new train depot later today.

The public is invited to attend this event, which will take place at 2:30 p.m. at 401 S. Columbia Street. Senator Dick Durbin will also be in attendance to take part in the ceremony.

Dwight is one of several towns constructing new depots to accommodate the new High Speed Rail in Illinois.
