The fate of one of the Prairie Central elementary schools hangs in the balance.
Prairie Central Superintendent Dr. John Capasso was a guest on Community Forum with Todd Wineburner recently, where he explained the issues the district is having.
“There are decisions that have to be made,” Capasso said. “Every community you can think of – every school in the area pretty much has had to close a building at some time or another, because you just shrink down to what you need and press on. That’s where we are.”
