OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht awarded the third quarter Achievers in Mission For Excellence award to Greg Matas, of Streator.

Matas works in a Floor Care Tech in Environmental Services at the hospital, beginning his career there in 2014.

Some of the attributes given Matas include how he is friendly and courteous, goes out of his way to help others and has nothing but positive relationships with everyone he interacts with.

For this honor, Matas received a framed certificate of appreciation, a monetary gift, a reception in his department and many other perks.
