The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has announced several waterway closures throughout the state due to the heavy rains it has been experiencing.
The U.S. Coast Guard has closed the Illinois River to recreational boat traffic from approximately Havana to Chillicothe.
Other closures can be found at their website at dnr.illinois.gov/closures.
