Hats off to the ISU Redbirds Men’s basketball team. November 30th of this year, the ISU Redbirds will play Kentucky!
This is a great move by Coach Muller and his staff; if you want to be the best you have to play the best. The Illinois State game plan is smart, as they will need 27 wins at least to have a shot at the NCAA Tournament. So what they’re doing is scheduling big time opponents to get ready for the Valley Conference play and Arch Madness in St. Louis.
Make no bones about it, Coach Muller wants an NCAA Tournament bid next year, and he is taking the right steps to get it done. Look out for the Birds next year, they are ready to make a big time run.
