iHeart Radio Music Festival saw some big names perform
8:46AM Monday
September 24, 2012

The iHeart Radio Music Festival kicked off over the weekend with performers like No Doubt, Pink, Taylor Swift, Prince, Mary J. Bilge and many more! It was a two day concert in Vegas that was so exhausting for Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day that he gave a 1 minute rant filled with expletives and then headed off to rehab! Uh oh! And speaking of iHeart radio, download the app to you Smartphone, computer or tablet and you can listen to WJEZ anywhere and everywhere you go!

Do you remember the name Kato Kaelin? He was the weird guy that was living in OJ Simpson’s guest house at the time of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman? He was the defenses' star witness actually, but recently he talked about the incident. He told a reporter that now that the statute of limitations has run out that he believes that OJ did commit the murders. He further said he didn’t come forward with the truth earlier because he was afraid of Simpson. Well, in a matter of just a few days he is recanting his statement saying he, in fact, never said that! Ugh!

Goodyear, the tire company, has come forward offering driving lessons to celebrities, Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan after their recent brushes with pedestrians, literally brushing pedestrians with their cars! Both have been accused of hit and runs, Bynes has been accused like 2 times plus a DUI!

ABC’s Modern Family won big last night at the Emmys taking home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, but the biggest winner of all might be Eric Stonestreet who plays Cameron Tucker on the show. Friends of Charlize Theron say that she and Stonestreet are a couple and that Theron has fallen quite hard for the actor who has recently broken up with his longtime girlfriend.

The Emmys took place last night and as I said before Modern Family took the comedy prize home while Julia Louis-Dreyfus won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Jon Cryer took the male version trophy. Homeland on Showtime won for Outstanding Drama Series, Clair Danes won Lead Actress in a Drama while Damian Lewis won for Lead Actor in a Drama. The winner for Outstanding Miniseries or movie was HBO’s Game Change with Julianne Moore winning Lead Actress for her role as Sarah Palin and Kevin Costner won for his role as Devil Hatfield in the Hatfields and McCoys. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Series, the Amazing Race won for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Tom Bergeron from Dancing with the Stars won an Emmy for Outstanding Host of a Reality Competition Program.
