I am a big fan of the terminology “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, but apparently the makers of Monopoly disagree with me. They have taken to Facebook to ask fans to vote on a new token piece because they are doing away with a classic. Here’s how it works; fans vote on the car, thimble, shoe, Scottie dog, battleship, hat, iron and wheelbarrow and the one with the fewest votes will go. It will then be replaced with cat, diamond ring, guitar, helicopter or toy robot. As of yesterday, the dog and the car have the most votes while the top hat and the wheelbarrow have the least. Why? Why change this?

Late night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel moved his time slot to be in direct competition with Jay Leno and David Letterman and he proved he can hang, beating out Letterman and nearly catching up to Leno. Uh oh!

It has been confirmed that San Diego Chargers linebacker Junior Seau was suffering from a brain disease when he took his own life last May. His autopsy revealed his brain had abnormalities that were consistent with someone who had “exposure to repetitive head injury”.
