Two O-S-F hospitals in central Illinois have received high marks from an organization that reviews hospital safety. The Leapfrog Group is a watchdog organization run by large purchasers of healthcare benefits that's given “A” ratings to O-S-F St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac, along with O-S-F St. Joseph in Bloomington. Pam Miner is the director of Marketing and Communications at OSF St. James. She says paying close attention to patient feedback was critical in the scoring, and adds that the Leapfrog Group is a respected national organization, so OSF Healthcare is particularly pleased with the high ratings.
