Jobs will be the primary power that gets the economy on the move. That was the message David Gibson of Gibson Financial Services in Pontiac shared with us today on the WJEZ Morning Show.

The good news is that jobless claims were down according to the job report earlier this morning. Unfortunately, it was at a level that many economists feel is not strong enough to pull the economy out of the doldrums.

As the campaigns are now in high gear, expect jobs to be the number one recurring theme in both President Obama’s and GOP contender Mitt Romney’s message to voters.
