Da Bears defense wins the shootout with the Cowboys

Da Bears! I was steaming last night watching the NFL Countdown before the Bears/Cowboys game when everyone was underestimating the Bears defense! They came to Dallas ready for a showdown and took care of business!

The Bears defense intercepted Tony Romo 5 times with Charles “Peanut” Tillman and Lance Briggs returning their picks for TDs! The Bears won the game 34 to 18. I fell asleep watching the game, in fact I think I missed the entire third quarter and when I woke up I was afraid to open my eyes and look at the score. I mean that’s how it usually is. Then I told myself, “Relax, Cat, they were playing great when you were awake”, so I gazed through my sleepy fog and saw the Bears were winning 27 to 10, saw it was in the 4th quarter and decided it was best to fall asleep happy! I was even happier to wake this morning to hear that they took the win! Da Bears!

While the defense shined, I must say I grow less and less enamored with Jay Cutler! Not his play, cos he can win games! He’s physical and when he is consistent, he’s darn good, but I feel he has a lack of respect for authority! I thought it was childish, when Mike Tice came to the bench to discuss the slow play calling with Cutler and he got up and walked away from Tice. Just turned his back and walked away. I get that Cutler was upset. I get that he expects his offensive coordinator to be at the level that Cutler is, but I have a problem with disrespect, especially when it’s televised! Cutler is a good QB, don’t get me wrong, but he seems to be showing a lack of patience with the players around him. What do they say, “There’s no “I” in team”?
