If you are a fan of the Chicago Cubs 7th inning stretch where celebrities sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", you may be sad to know that it is retiring after 15 seasons. I say, “Finally”! The Cubs organization has decided to no longer have celebrities bust our eardrums, but instead they will invite local Chicago talent to come by and the occasional former player. They began having celebrities come in after the death of Harry Caray 1998 and some of them have been pretty awful! Like Bernie Mac in 2003, Steve McMichael in ’01, Jeff Gordon in ’05, Da Coach, Mike Ditka in 1998 and the worst in history goes to Ozzy and Sharon Osborne in 2003. Those days are over. You can keep your radio turned up in the 7th inning stretch from here on out!
