In shocking news, the Paralympics champion and double amputee known as the Blade Runner, Oscar Pistorius, is being held on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of his model girlfriend in his home. She was shot four times in what his camp is saying was accidental when he mistook her for an intruder! Police say, however, that there have been incidents in the past that point to something darker. 

I told you yesterday that Lady Gaga had cancelled some tour dates due to what the singer was calling a concert injury that had caused joint swelling, severe pain and the inability to walk. Today we learn she has cancelled the entire tour and will be having hip surgery! She has actually suffered a tear in her right hip on the muscle that actually helps to hold the hip in place. After the surgery, her doctors say that she will have an extensive recovery period.

Yesterday, I announced how actor Alec Baldwin is expecting a child at the age of 54, but Steve Martin trumps that becoming a first-time Dad at 67! Other stars have had children later in life like Martin. Rod Stewart and Clint Eastwood were 66, Pablo Picasso was 67, Charlie Chaplin was 73 and Tony Randall was pushing 80 when he became a father.
