Tonight could mark the third week in a row that we have to deal with a winter storm. How bad this one will be is anyone’s guess, as usual, but I will tell you this, parts of Iowa and North Dakota could see as much as 15 inches by tonight and it’s all headed our way!
It is expected to start for us tonight as a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain changing over to just snow as the temperature begins to drop by tomorrow afternoon. How much snow? 3 to 6 inches is the range for us, with wind gusts as high as 30mph which could make visibility tough. Snowfall is expected to end tomorrow night right around midnight with no precipitation in the forecast for Wednesday.
After all of this blows out of here, literally, we’ll see our temperatures begin to rise. Up to 48 degrees on Sunday! I’ll take that!
