Actress Bonnie Franklin, the mom on One Day At a Time, died last Friday at her home from pancreatic cancer. Franklin was only 69 years-old. Her family announced her diagnosis last September. The sitcom was on the air from 1975 to 1984.

Jack the Giant Slayer was number one at the box office over the weekend, bringing in $28 million dollars. That is quite a disappointment as it took $200 million to make! Disney’s big bomb was John Carter from last year, remember that movie? Well, Jack made even less money that that bust! Ouch! Identity Thief came in second and the third place movie for the weekend was 21 and Over.

America’s Got Talent is desperately trying to stay viable in the midst of a revolving door of judges and bad ratings. In hopes of reviving the show, they just hired model Heidi Klum to sit on the panel.
