Michael Buble recently complained that he didn't want to know the sex of his unborn baby, but his wife was insisting they find out.  Well, now they know -- and he seems to be pretty happy about it.

"We are so excited. We have just come from the hospital and the sonogram was pretty clear...it's a boy!" Michael tells the New York Post. "We are thrilled."

Michael says that he and wife Luisana went for the sonogram just after finding out that the new pontiff, Pope Francis, is from Argentina, which is Luisana's home country. Michael tells the Post, "She said, ‘It is a sign!’ But there’s no way we are going to call him [Francis], even if it did work well for Frank Sinatra.”
