Man released from hospital after car crashes into restaurant
A Forrest man has been released from the hospital following a crash Sunday in Forrest. Livingston County Sheriff’s Police say 25-year-old Zachary Shafer was driving a ’99 Grand Prix south on Center Street when he lost consciousness due to a medical emergency and crashed into the El Rodeo Restaurant at 101 West Krack Street. Shafer was taken to St. James Medical Center in Pontiac, by SELCAS Ambulance.
