County board to have final say on windfarm
County board to have final say on windfarm
The Livingston County Board’s Ag and Zoning Committee has voted to forward a wind farm application to the entire county board for its consideration. The committee once again last night reviewed the Streator Cayuga Ridge South Wind Project, being proposed by Iberdrola Renewables. Ag and Zoning Committee chairwoman Jean Rapp says the county board will have the final say tomorrow night. Tomorrow’s county board meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the basement of the county Public Safety Complex in Pontiac. Iberdrola Renewables wants to construct a number of wind turbines between Odell and Emington.
