Pontiac man accused of attempted murder to have June trial

Officials are still waiting for DNA results in the case of a Pontiac man charged with attempted first-degree murder. Darious Bowens is accused of stabbing a woman repeatedly at the Meadowview Court Housing Complex in Pontiac earlier this year. The woman has since been released from the hospital. Livingston County Associate Judge Jennifer Bauknecht has decided to leave the case on the June jury calendar, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for May 16th.
