PTHS efforts recognized by Lt. Governor
PTHS efforts recognized by Lt. Governor

     Students and teachers from Pontiac Township High School were honored by Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn in Peoria yesterday. The ceremony recognized the efforts of the Pontiac Prescription Drug Disposal Program, where pharmacies collected any un-used or unwanted prescription pills and safely dispose of them. Those recognized are students in Paul Ritter’s ecology class and Eric Bohm’s Illinois Studies class at PTHS. Students receiving the Environmental Hero honor include: Sherry Knittel, Vicki Izaguirre, Kehaulani Blankenship, Danielle McMillan, Amanda McBride and Brittany Kolesar.
