Heritage Days this weekend in Pontiac
Heritage Days this weekend in Pontiac
It’s a flashback to yesteryear in downtown Pontiac this weekend, during PROUD’s Heritage Days celebration. The events kick-off Friday night with a street dance, according to PROUD Executive Director Lori Fairfield. The DeLong’s outdoor patio will be open until 11 p.m. There will be food vendors on the west side of the square, with angus dogs, philly steak and cheese, pulled pork, cheddar bites, and hand-dipped shakes. Heritage Days continues all day Saturday from 9 to 5 with old-time demonstrations, trolley tours, flea market vendors, food, horse and carriage rides, a pie baking contest and downtown retail sidewalk sales.
