The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce has named the 2008 grand marshal for the Threshermen’s Parade.   Bob McKenzie has been chosen for his many years of involvement in the community. He’s been a Vermillion Players cast member, writer, director and singer. McKenzie is a former educator at Pontiac Township High School where he taught in the English, Literature and French departments. This year’s parade will be held on the Sunday before Labor Day in downtown Pontiac, with the theme “Paradise in Pontiac.”
