Livingston County Fair concludes today
The Livingston County 4-H Fair wraps up today at 4-H Park near Pontiac. The cat show gets underway at 8:30 this morning in the sheep barn, followed by rooster crowing at the east end of the Byrne Building at 9. Then at 9:30, its master showmanship in the show barn with a Style Revue in the Humiston Building at 11. The afternoon’s events include the beef sale at 1, followed by the rabbit, poultry and milk sale in the show barn at 1:30. State Fair sign-up takes place from 1 to 3 at the Humiston Building. The wether sale will be held in the show barn at 1:45, followed by the swine sale at 2. The exhibits will be released from 3 to 5, with junior premium money available at 5. Tonight’s activities include the live auction of chainsaw carvings in the grandstand area at 6:30 followed by the demo derby at 7:30. And the evening concludes with the dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m.
