Roanoke man dead after motorcycle crash
Roanoke man dead after motorcycle crash
Authorities have released the name of the man that died after his motorcycle crashed near Pontiac Sunday night. Livingston County Coroner Mike Burke says 35-year-old Shawn Troyer of Roanoke was pronounced dead at the hospital, after the crash on Route 116, east of Pontiac. State Police say Troyer was driving the motorcycle west on the highway, when he lost control after approaching a curve in the road, causing the bike to skid and strike a nearby stop sign. An autopsy was scheduled. Officials say Troyer was wearing a helmet.
