Garage destroyed by fire
Garage destroyed by fire
The state fire marshal is trying to figure out what caused an early morning garage fire in Cornell.  Firefighters from Cornell, Long Point, Reading and Pontiac responded to the blaze around 5 a.m. at the corner of Seventh and Prairie Streets. Officials say the large garage, owned by Tim Hinshaw, was completely destroyed. One firefighter was treated for a minor arm injury, and will be okay. A neighbor reportedly noticed the fire and notified authorities.
