The Pontiac Rotary Club is seeking nominations for the Citizen of the Year. Names should be submitted to Greg BesGrove at the Pontiac County Market Store, at 406 West Madison Street. The nominations should say why the person should win the award. Criteria include community service in 2007 and lifetime service to the area. Applications should be submitted by July 15. The Citizen of the Year will be announced during a banquet on August 26 at the Pontiac Elk’s Club.
