Many of us will always remember last year’s fight to keep the Pontiac prison open. Now, those memories will be put on film. Illinois State University graduate student Brian Seay has produced and directed a documentary about the efforts to keep former Governor Blagojevich from shuttering the prison. Seay says he got the idea for “Pontiac’s Rebellion” when he was working as a photographer for an area TV station. CLICK FOR SOUND From last November to July of this year, Seay followed former Mayor Scott McCoy and other Pontiac residents. A free public viewing of “Pontiac’s Rebellion” will be offered on Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m. in the Pontiac Township High School Auditorium. Seay plans to send out invitations of the showing to the key people he followed while shooting the documentary, including Rod Blagojevich.
