The Pontiac United Way has set its biggest campaign goal ever. The $215,000 goal was announced this week for the upcoming 2008-2009 campaign season. Local coordinator Dee Ingles says the attainment of the new campaign goal is aggressive but achievable. Ingles says the generosity of the local people has always lended a helping hand for United Way. Earlier this year, volunteers, local companies, and many United Way agencies provided health and human services to help those affected by the flood.
