One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Forrest Wednesday. Livingston County Sheriff’s Police say 38-year-old Rusty Robbins of Anchor was driving a Chevy pickup east on Route 24 and came to a rest to make a left turn, when the back of the pickup was struck by an eastbound Ford Ranger, driven by 34-year-old Aaron Slager of Chenoa. Slager was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid and accident. Robbins was taken to Gibson Area Hospital by SELCAS Ambulance where his condition is not being released. Slager refused medical treatment.
