The Livingston County Home and Community Education Association 2009 scholarship has been awarded to Megan Barton of Cornell. She’s the daughter of Blair and Tina Barton and is a 2008 graduate of Flanagan High School. Barton has completed one year at Illinois State University with her major in child development. The scholarship is awarded each year to a person pursuing an education in Family and Consumer Sciences or a related field.
