A group of veterans representing the Livingston County War Museum will be in Bloomington on Sunday (11/10).

War Museum President Ed Long said it will be a chance to learn military history from people who helped write it.

“From 2 to 4 p.m. we are going to be at the Bloomington Public Library and there will be a chance to hear some stories from veterans and then we’ll let people ask any questions they want,” said Long.

The panel for the event will feature Vietnam veterans Ed Long and David Estes, as well as a fellow Vietnam veteran–Normal Mayor Chris Koos.

World War 2 veteran Art Leach will be part of the group as well, talking about his experiences as a fighter pilot. The panel will also feature Korean War Veteran Jack Murphy and Juan Ruiz, who was deployed several times to Iraq and Afghanistan.
