Summer Bash at The Pointe at Pontiac

A local retirement community is getting set to host its annual summer event.

The Pointe at Pontiac will put on its Summer Bash party on Saturday, June 1. The event allows family and friends to come and enjoy a day of games, prizes, food, and entertainment.

Regional Marketing Director Peg Spear told WJEZ’s Todd Wineburner it’s a great way for residents in the retirement community to get involved.

“We want our residents to have the fullest life possible and we want them to have the opportunity to spend time with their families. It’s also sometimes difficult for our residents to go out for an event like this, so we bring it to them,” said Spear.

The Summer Bash is open to the public and will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

More information about the event can be found on the Pointe at Pontiac Facebook page.
