LCSSU Offices Moving to New Location

The Livingston County Special Services Unit (LCSSU), which serves the population of all thirteen member school districts in the county, has purchased a new building.

Regional Superintendent of Schools Mark Jontry told WJEZ’s Todd Wineburner about the new space.

“The co-op (LCSSU) has had the opportunity to purchase a new building, as their current space they rent. Good Samaritan had a nursing home in Flanagan that has been vacant, and the co-op has just completed the purchase of it. Renovations will begin this summer, and this fall that is where the school programs will be housed,” said Jontry.

Jontry said renovations should move fairly quickly in order for the facility to be ready for next school year.
