A variety of area employers will be on hand this week at a job fair hosted by Livingston Workforce Services. The event is set for Thursday (5/9/19) from 10 a.m until noon at Pontiac Parks and Rec.

Outreach Business Specialist Triscia Brubaker told WJEZ’s Todd Wineburner what prospective job seekers can expect.

“We’ll have a variety of healthcare, nursing homes, and staffing agencies,” Brubaker said. “Some of the larger ones are Caterpillar, a representative of the U.S. Postal Service, and the Illinois Department of Corrections.”

The fair is open to anyone in the area. Brubaker added that job seekers should bring a resume and dress professionally.
