Livingston County Sheriff’s detectives said they found an endangered runaway girl on Wednesday at a Bloomington hotel after she had been missing for five days.    

A man who was with the girl faces possible criminal charges, according to Sheriff Tony Childress.  

The girl had been missing from the Emington area, northeast of Pontiac, since last Friday.  

Childress said the numerous tips the department received on social media were vital in helping find the girl at Bloomington’s Red Roof Inn. 

Childress said his department was assisted by Bloomington and Normal Police, and the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s office.
