The Livingston County Public Health Department has a variety of services available for anyone starting a family. Health Education and Marketing Director Erin Fogarty explained to WJEZ’s Todd Wineburner that the programs are focused on the welfare of everyone involved, “The whole idea is to really plan a pregnancy out so we have the healthiest pregnancy and delivery we can,” Fogarty says there are plenty of services offered from classes to a variety of different contraceptives. “Our whole goal is to help people in whatever their goals are,” Fogarty added. The health department also offers a family planning clinic to do yearly tests and exams.
