Livingston County, much like the rest of the midwest, was pounded by snow over the weekend,  and it may be too soon to think the worst is over.

The heaviest hit were Streator and Dwight, with each getting 8 inches of snow, while Pontiac received 7.8 inches.  Only Ashkum received more, with 9.3 inches.

And more might be on the way.  According to the Weather Underground model at Pontiac Junior High School, more nastiness is on the way–as much as eight inches of it.

The model predicts that this Friday night there is a ninety percent chance of snow, as much as between three to five inches, with another seventy percent chance of one to three inches on Saturday.

So keep the shovels handy.
