A tentative levy was approved at the last meeting of Pontiac District 429’s Board of Education, and the proposal is now available for public examination.

The proposal will be examined again in December, as new construction in the area has been estimated at a growth of $2.6 million according to the Pontiac Daily Leader.

The district is looking at a 3 percent change this year.

Other items included approval of a wrestling cooperative agreement with Dwight and updates on the Central School roofing project, which is anticipated to start this summer.
