The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce held an official ribbon cutting for J.B Hawks Discount Tobacco and Vape Friday, adding the new business to its list of Chamber members.
Owner Tom Ware said he enjoys being in the City of Pontiac and finds the community very welcoming.
“Everyone has been wonderful. I was just telling this lady that we went into City Hall and when we were first looking at Pontiac and everyone is just so easy to work with. We’ve loved all the customers we’ve met in Pontiac. We’re hiring employees. This is our 20th store and our 7th gaming location – Lucky’s Landing – and we’re very excited about Pontiac. Some towns you go in, you have complications, but Pontiac has just been very easy to work with you we’re very lucky,” Ware said.
J.B. Hawks is located at 952 W. Reynolds Street in Pontiac.
