Pontiac’s Santa House has grand re-opening

The Christmas Light Up Parade was Friday evening, ushering Santa into Pontiac and giving people a first glimpse at all the work that has been done on his home on the square.

PROUD Interim Director Jessi Finkenbinder said everything went extremely well with the debut.

“The Santa house grand opening went absolutely amazing. We had tons of people show up from the Chamber of Commerce. We had a lot of our contributors show up. The square was completely packed with people so they all got to see it.  We were in the house for about two hours after the parade because everyone just wanted to come in. The kids loved it. We had a toy train under the tree and that was a huge hit. Santa did amazing. He loves his new home. All in all, it’s just awesome. We love it.

The House can be seen on the north side of the Historic Livingston County Courthouse on Madison Street. To find when Santa will be there, visit PROUD’s Facebook page at facebook.com/PontiacProud.
