After a summer hiatus, the Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its first fall Issues and Eggs Thursday at 7:30 a.m. and the Pontiac Family Kitchen.

Executive Director Mindi Terrell said the first subject will tackle something very close to home in Illinois –the new budget and how it will affect small business.

“It’s going to be about the state budget and what it really means for local businesses. We’re bringing someone down from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce who really knows the ins and outs of this and to talk about what it really means for our local businesses. So what does it mean for our local restaurants, local manufacturers, local small businesses, service businesses, etc?” Terrell said.
