Woodridge Supportive Living on Deerfield Road in Pontiac is now under new ownership.

The facility is now called The Pointe at Pontiac, and regional supervisor Peg Spear describes any changes that will take place with the new ownership.

“As far as the basics, nothing will change. Everything they’ve been provided with, they will continue to be provided with and they will still have their own home and all the things they were given when they first started there. The things that will change are improvements. We’ve already replaced the dining room floor and we will continue to upgrade the facility itself. We will continue to upgrade the activities and events and that’s for all the residents, whether they’re on the supportive program or pay privately. Our owner provides those trips at no cost to the residents,” Spear said.

Spear was a guest on a recent Community Forum and that podcast is available at wjez.com.
