Picking your spot on Sunday’s parade route

thresherman's chamber story

The Thresherman’s Parade steps off Sunday at 1:15, rain or shine, and people have plenty of time and room to find the perfect spot for viewing.

Mindi Terrell, executive director of the Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce, maps out the parade route.

“So it’s going to start at Mill Street at the other side of the bridge. It’s going across Mill Street down to Madison and make a right hand turn onto Madison Street and go one block to Main Street and make a left hand turn onto Main Street and then go all the way down. Just to note: In the downtown area, there will be no parking on those streets by 11 or 12,” Terrell said.
